ordering & delivery
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver to towns in the North Island. If you can’t have a delivery sent to your address, check out our stockists to find dinners closer to you.
Can I order if my delivery address is rural?
Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to a rural address as we can’t guarantee the courier will be able to deliver overnight. If unsure if your delivery address is rural you can check at the NZ Post website.
Can I get an order sent to the South Island?
At the moment our website doesn’t accept orders with South Island delivery addresses. Check out our South Island stockists. If you’re hoping to place an order, feel free to get in touch and we’ll see if it’s possible.
When should I expect my order?
Hamilton & Te Awamutu
- Order by 9 am for same-day delivery.
- Orders placed after 9 am will be dispatched the next business day.
Rest of North island
- Orders are dispatched using overnight delivery from Monday through Thursday.
- Order by 9 am for same-day dispatch and next-day delivery.
- Orders placed after 9 am on Thursday will be dispatched the following Monday.
- Orders are not sent on Fridays or the day before public holidays, as couriers cannot guarantee delivery over the weekend or on holidays.
How will I know when my order has been sent?
Once your order is packed and ready, we’ll email you to confirm it has been fulfilled.
- Local orders: Your order will arrive on the same day you receive the fulfilment email.
- Overnight courier orders: You’ll receive tracking details so you can follow your delivery.
I won’t be home when my order is delivered. Will it still be frozen?
On our same day delivery service we use an insulation wrap so that the meals will stay frozen for up to 12 hours.
Orders sent using overnight delivery have wool wrap and ice packs to keep meals frozen. Your meals will stay frozen for up to 36 hours.
When can I collect my order from RedKitchen HQ?
Place your order by 9 am to collect it the same day (Monday to Friday). We’ll send you an email as soon as your order is ready. All meals are kept frozen until collection. Collection is from 8am to 4pm from RedKitchen HQ, 372 Bond Road.

Are the silver containers microwave safe?
Yes, the silver containers are safe to put in the microwave.
How many people do the meals feed?
We focus on the main part of the meal, allowing you to add your preferred accompaniments. The last photo on each meal page shows the nutritional info, recommended serving size, and weight to help you decide.
FAMILY - Hearty, family-friendly favourites made to please everyone at the table. Serves 3 to 5 people.
LARGE - Our “Boujee for the Foodie” meals serve 3. They may have a little spice or be made with spensy artisan ingredients.
SMALL - Generously portioned single meals for busy days or solo dining.
do you have df or gluten free meals?
We offer meals without gluten or dairy containing ingredients, though they're not certified as such. Our staff are thoroughly trained in health and safety protocols, including procedures to prevent cross-contamination, and we’ve never had an issue with allergen exposure. Get in touch, and we’ll happily recommend meals that suit your needs.
